!! FOR SALE !!
!! PRICE INCLUDES FREIGHT TO YOUR BEST EUROPEAN DESTINATION PORT !!
Powered by a rebuilt 1. 5-liter air-cooled flat-four engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission, this 1973 Brazilian-market Volkswagen Type 2 Bus has undergone a thorough two-year restoration, transforming it into a fully outfitted camper. Finished in two-tone blue over a brown and light beige interior, it includes body-color bumpers, a roof rack, 15 windows featuring front Safari and pop-out side windows, 14” steel wheels with chrome hubcaps, a rear bench, sink, mini refrigerator, and more. This meticulously restored Type 2 is now being offered for sale.
Throughout the 24-month restoration process, all corroded and damaged areas were professionally removed and replaced with new metal, preserving the build’s originality and quality. The original paint was entirely stripped, and the vehicle was refinished in a two-tone scheme of dark blue on top and Diamond Blue on the lower section. It features body-color bumpers, 15 windows, including front Safari split windows, four pop-out side windows, and a rear hatch window, along with dual side mirrors, right-side barn-style doors, a roof rack, and a wood-slatted side ladder. It rides on 14” steel wheels adorned with chrome hubcaps and wrapped in new Aderenza Cargo Max whitewall tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin seating surfaces have been reupholstered in a two-tone brown and beige fabric, complemented by matching paneling throughout. Up front, seats are equipped with brown lap and shoulder belts, while lap belts are provided in the rear. Color-coordinated carpets line the front row floor, and wood accent lines the rear compartment flooring. The rear compartment has been converted into a camper with a folding rear bench, a sink, a mini refrigerator, beige privacy curtains, overhead lighting, various storage compartments, and fold-out tables. All gauges and electronics are reported to be in proper working order with no warning lights illuminated.
Power comes from a rebuilt, rear-mounted 1. 5-liter air-cooled horizontally opposed (flat-four) engine, delivering output to the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual transmission with “big nut” gear reduction boxes. It is equipped with a Bosch electronic ignition (“Hall effect”) system, along with a torsion bar front suspension and semi-trailing arm rear suspension.
