La segunda generación del Porsche Cayman, un cupé de dos plazas con tracción trasera y el motor colocado por detrás del habitáculo, es visualmente similar a la anterior, pero parte de una estructura nueva. Al igual que en el último 911, la distancia entre ejes ha sido incrementada y la altura de la carrocería ligeramente reducida.

The second generation of the Porsche Cayman, a two-seater coupe with rear-wheel drive and the engine positioned behind the passenger compartment, is visually similar to the previous one, but is based on a new chassis. As with the last 911, the wheelbase has been increased and the body height slightly reduced.
