Spirit R

For sale here is a really special example of RX-8 R3.
Below a bit of car history and spec.:

- 2010 model, late August 2010 build date
- Full Mazda History up until 2019, then serviced by RX-8 club member and RX-8 specialist dealer - Enjoyable Cars) religiously every 6 months or so with oil and filter changes, then by new owner for a year, and then by myself.
- 63,500 miles
- 4 owners including myself (3 previous owners). First owner from 2010 to 2019, 2nd owner from 2019 to 2022, 3rd owner from 2022 to 2023 and then myself
- Compression results when the car was bought from Enjoyable Cars in August 2022 was 7.0/7.2/7.0 & 7.0/6.9/7.0 less than 5000 miles ago. Starts absolutely fine both hot and cold, and no reason why compression would have dropped. Happy to provide video of both hot and cold start.
- MOT passed with no advisories on the 17th August 2023 along with a Oil and Filter Service

- RRP 200 Cell Sport Catalytic Converter - bought new April 2023 installed May 2023
- RRP Graphite Grey engine mount x 2 bought new and installed May 2023
- 95% tinted rear windows April 2023
- Fog light delete kit fitted April 2023 (included will be original fog lights)
- Air con regassed and checked June 2024
- Red calipers installed April 2023 with a full brake fluid flush
- 20mm spacers fitted front and rear
- Climair Wind deflectors installed Nov '2022
- 2009 wing mirrors included with the car if someone wants to replicate the look of "Spirit R" model.
- Racing Beat Revi 8 Cat back exhaust system
- Steering wheel retrimmed by "Royal Steering Wheels" with red stitching
- Red Seatbelts
- OEM Rev C coils and Magnecor leads and new plugs installed approx. 5000 miles ago.
- Refurbished 19" R3 alloys in "Lamborgi Emerald Bronze" with matching Uniroyal Rainsport 5 tyres all round with approx. 5mm tread
- EBC drilled discs and EBC yellow stuff pads all round
- touchscreen radio with wireless Apple Car Play / Google Car Play and PAC MP4-MZ11 adapter (which retains steering wheel controls, clock time update and custom text on dash LCD).

Interior:

- All electrics function correctly
- Recaro Drivers seat bolster is in excellent condition, no rips or tears and no damage to the leather
- Recaro Passenger and rear seats have no rips or tears and no damage to the leather
- Air con blows very cold having just been fully checked over and regassed
- BOSE stereo, steering wheel controls, cruise control, auto headlight all work fine

Exterior:

- Regularly washed and polished by hand using 2 bucket method. Never pressure washed in my ownership.
- Always garaged in my and previous owenership. Not used in winter.
- Sparkling Black Mica paint is really sparkling and shows the gold flake beautifully
- Extremely good bodywork for its age
- only one alloy with small kerbing mark. All others are in perfect condition
- Windscreen does have some stone chips in but nothing to worry about - only 2 or 3 small chips

Engine:

- Starts cold and hot without any issues and does so very quickly
- I have always monitored the oil level and topped up with Millers Oil Trident Professional Semi Synthetic 10W40.
The previous owner also used this oil.
- Always warmed up in my ownership before increasing revs above 5000 rpm
- Engine sounds amazing with AEM induction kit
- Very clean and smooth throughout the rev range
- Racing Beat exhaust with RRP Sports Cat provides a nice deep burble but not deafening at cruise speeds and is quite quiet at but loud enough
- New engine mounts fitted. RRP Graphite grey both sides.

Chassis:

- Very good condition throughout
- No rusty sills
- Brand New Tein suspension fitted in April 2023
- All arms and joints checked for leaks or degradation and nothing present
- Brake pads and discs have a lot of life left in them and work amazingly well.
- Chassis balance is impeccable.

I keep using the car as it's my daily driver, so the mileage will go up slightly.
Also, I don't want to sell any parts separately (especially head lamps) as the car has very unique look and will be sold complete as it is.
