Comentarios
Iconic car and engine with which Dino Ferrari obtained his racing license. Due to its Ferrari engine and small production number (1159), this is a popular classic. Prices have therefore accelerated in the last decade.
I have had the car for 2 years and have seen many people peeking at this temptress. Due to circumstances I have to let the car go. It was therefore priced low for quick sales
Details from the appraisal report:
1st commissioning: 15/08/1968
Odometer reading: 14579 km (analog counter with 5 digits)
VIN: 135 AS 0001025 -
Self-supporting steel body, 2-door spider with 2 seats. The base is in original condition with normal traces of use, pollution and age.
Engine: Ferrari V6, longitudinally mounted at the front, water-cooled, 1987 cc, 119 kW / 160 hp with 3 Weber 40mm carburettors. Engine type 135B 000 number 0000996 = the correct type and original
The gearbox: Manual 5-speed with rear wheel drive = correct and original.
Bodywork: is in its original form and has been completely repainted. The lacquer has a deep shine and is applied homogeneously. The body panels have been beautifully restored. The reveals, closing edges and hinges between the various body panels run neatly parallel.
The chrome is original with various damages and signs of age. The glassware is in good condition with normal signs of wear. The gray fabric convertible roof was renewed
Wheels: original Fiat Chromodora rims 14 x 6½" with normal signs of wear and age.
Mechanical: The engine and its accessories (starter, alternator, carburetors, radiator, ...) are according to original specifications and function properly. The cylinder head gasket was replaced in 2023.
The operation of the clutch and gearbox feels normal. The shock absorbers are still the originals.
The steering wheel is not power assisted, the braking system is and has disc brakes all around.
Interior: in decent, partly original condition. The seats were reupholstered in black artificial leather and Alcantara. The inlay mats were renewed. The black plastic dashboard is original with some cracks at the top. The car is equipped with 2 (3-point) harness seat belts and a MOMA sports steering wheel.
