1953 Chrysler Windsor Coupe equipped with original Spitfire L6 engine, Fluidmatic Drive transmission and power steering with 94591 miles
Rare model in this configuration, especially since this Windsor is Matching Numbers, including the color.
This Windsor was built at the Detroit factory in 1953, it spent most of its life in the USA driving regularly as owners changed.
In 2016, it was sold to a buyer located in the United Kingdom, who imported and registered it.
In 2019, it traveled to Italy where new upholstery and door decorations were installed before arriving in Germany where it enhanced a collection of old vehicles.
This vehicle has been in Europe since before 2020 so no tax (Brexit) is due following registration in Europe.
This Windsor runs regularly, it is started 3 times a year, kept in working order and drives around the building on a private road.
Bodywork - Chassis:
The Windsor was repainted over 10 years ago, while maintaining the original colors: Arctic Blue and White.
The varnish remains shiny, although traces of wear remain visible.
There is a scratch on the roof and the paint is torn in the right rear fender (black photos).
The underside is in good condition, the chassis is covered with a greasy protective layer which properly protects the chassis.
Surface corrosion may be visible in a few places.
The decorative chrome is in good condition and shiny.
The bumpers are very imposing, in good condition, but show some wear to their shine.
Mechanical :
